SOLVE COMMON PROBLEMS
Flame Doesn’t Stay Lit
Possible Causes:
- Wick is too short or poorly soaked
- Low-quality or incompatible lamp oil
- Windy or poorly sheltered area
Solutions:
- Let the wick soak in oil for at least 10–15 minutes before lighting
- Use only certified lamp oil or paraffin-based light oil
- Light the flame in a wind-protected area
Excessive Smoke
Possible Causes:
- Wrong type of fuel (e.g., kerosene or petrol)

- Adjust/Trim wick to a moderate height (about ½ inch exposed)
Oil Leaks or Overflows
Possible Causes:
- Overfilled oil chamber
- Product tipped or placed on uneven surface
Solutions:
- Never fill over 75% of the capacity
- Wipe off any spilled oil before lighting
- Always place on a flat, stable surface
Strong Odor or Fumes
Possible Causes:
- Using low-grade or incorrect oil
- Incomplete combustion due to poor ventilation
Solutions:
- Switch to high-quality lamp oil
- Use only in open or well-ventilated areas
Wick Won’t Light or Burns Too Quickly
Possible Causes:
- Wick not fully saturated with oil
- Damaged wick
Solutions:
- Allow wick to absorb oil fully before lighting
- Replace wick if it appears charred, brittle, or frayed
